Good Weather and New Beginnings

Hello, blog, and a very happy Friday to you.

Today's post is coming to you from a nice comfy couch with the Christopher Robin movie playing in the background. I'm feeling exceptionally cozy today despite the fact it is (according to my weather app) 69 degrees yet feels 72. Quite remarkable for the 6th of November, I would say. I won't argue it for sure.

It has been rather pleasant weather most of the week. Yesterday, A and I took to the park for a little playtime and a nice walk. He had an absolute blast and it was a beautiful day. The leaves have, for the most part, fallen. That to me is always a bit sad, but it sure made A happy to be able to pick them up at the park and crunch through them. He truly does love leaves. It's really the simple things for children, isn't it? I love that.

The world has been so heavy lately. I'm already seeing the benefits of being off social media more. I've not been off completely but it is significantly less than I was. It's been such a welcome change for me. It has been difficult (particularly yesterday, Thursdays always seem to be stressful for me) but rewarding nonetheless.

I'm finally getting a routine that is working for exercise. I've worked out five days this week, which is huge for me. Building a new routine has been very beneficial to me. I've been moving my body and sleeping more, quite incredible to say the least. I've been using the FitOn app, which has been so helpful in staying active. It's really nice and full of tons of different workout styles, trainers, intensity levels, and time lengths. I truly enjoy it and it's been very helpful.

Looking forward to the weekend and I guess perhaps even some election results. It's been the craziest year, hasn't it?

Here's to looking to a relaxing weekend (well as relaxing as it can be).

Hope you're well and have a lovely weekend.

Until next time.

xx
